ArtEZ Exhibition Design

Spatial Visualization & Virtual Walkthrough

Communicating a complex spatial exhibition concept requires more than standard 2D drawings, it demands a tactile sense of scale and flow. For this exhibition design at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem, 3-Dees was brought on to translate conceptual layouts into precise, clear 3D environments.

By modeling the interior classrooms, bespoke exhibition furniture, display units, and custom storage systems in SketchUp, followed by dynamic rendering and VR walkthrough generation in Twinmotion, the design was made immediately tangible. This allowed both the exhibition designer and the client to evaluate spatial feasibility, verify sightlines, and confidently proceed to full realization.

Client note

Exhibition designer feedback

"For the client presentation of an exhibition design, I strongly felt the need for a better way to communicate my concept. I hired 3-Dees to help me with this. The clear, spatial floor plans and visualisations of the exhibition furniture immediately gave the client confidence in my concept. The virtual walk-through of the exhibition space helped as well the client as myself see the feasibility of the design. The project has since been realised, a result I partly owe to 3-Dees."
